Astrophysicist Wayne Robertson attempts to speak with his fiancé Yumi but quickly learns that his ability to communicate with the world outside Station 151 is severely limited. His frustration results in a violent outburst that earns him a visit from Dr. Alfieri, who aims to set Wayne straight–one way or another.
