Wayne and Alfieri face off against Richard in a deadly standoff, uncovering shocking secrets and forming uneasy alliances as their survival hinges on a treacherous promise and the lure of single malt scotch.
Following Wilkins’ return, Wayne nervously probes the limits of his nemesis’ new core directives and explores a some inventive ways to control Doctor Alfieri’s movement.
After a tense confrontation, Wayne devises a plan to permanently control Doctor Alfieri while adhering to Astrid’s strict moral code. Astrid suggests resurrecting an old friend to help keep him in line.
After a failed attack on Richard, Wayne is locked in the storage room with Buzz and Doctor Alfieri. Inside, Alfieri finally reveals the grisly truth behind Wayne’s origin and purpose at Station 151.
Wayne fights to retrieve Buzz from the healing chamber, despite Dr. Alfieri’s protests. The happy reunion is short-lived, however, as the terrifying voices return, insisting that Wayne take control of the situation.
After a terrifying experience with the strange, black substance, Richard becomes increasingly paranoid and violent, accusing Wayne of concealing its origin. Astrid attempts to mediate, but the situation deteriorates further as Doctor Alfieri regains consciousness and attempts to turn them against each other.
Safely inside Station 151, Richard and Astrid confront Wayne about a mysterious, painful mass on his neck. Richard leaves the station to hunt down Spegg, but returns with an unexpected, and disturbing find.
After listening to Richard’s story, Wayne is forced to reckon with the true nature of his reality. Attempting to clear his head, Wayne leaves the station and falls under the influence of the mysterious creature, Spegg. In order to save him, Astrid is forced to make a difficult decision.
Following another near blackout, Wayne dodges Astrid’s questions while he and Richard work to secure Buzz in the stasis chamber. Tensions mount, however, as Wayne accuses Richard of sabotaging the array, forcing Richard to come clean about his true purpose at Station 151.
Wayne Robertson grudgingly returns to Station 151, as he struggles to cope with Richard’s sudden presence, Buzz’s injury, and the strange voices he’s been hearing in his head. Will he follow Astrid’s advice, or will Wayne confront Richard for past transgressions while simultaneously losing his mind?
Pilot Richard Johns finds Wayne Robertson near death on the ice while the howls of a terrifying creature permeate the fog.
